The 21st century we have just entered is definitely an "information age".
IT (information technology) has become very much a part of our life
and fast turning into a necessity, and not just a want or luxury.
Can you imagine living in a world without information technology,
computers, internet, multimedia, etc.
For the last 20 years, human beings have been using information technology
to improve their life and communicate with one another like never before.
People from all over the world, regardless of which corner of the planet
they are from, could effectively and conveniently communicate
and collaborate with one another.
Information and knowledge could be created, transmitted, shared, stored,
found, searched ( "googled" ) from all over the world and for all sorts of
purposes. If anyone says "I don't know" about something, we can always tell
the person to use "Google"
or "Yahoo"
to search for the answer or answers. You just need to know where and how
to search for the information you need.
What You Know Or Don't Know, Can Make A Big Different In Your Life
More than 2000 years ago in ancient China,
someone with a lot of knowledge said something very knowledgeable:
"If you know, say you know; If you don't know, say you don't know;
Then that will be genuine knowing." Hehe .. Know who said that?
Yep, that's right ... Confucius indeed. :)
There is a common saying, "What you don't know won't hurt you". Well,
we beg to differ. From our own experience, it seems that what you don't
know can very often hurt you, harm you, kill you, rob you, fatten you,
and maybe even make you pregnant.
And there is another saying, "Mind over matter; What you don't mind,
does not matter". Well, we beg to differ (again).
What we don't mind can offen matter a lot too ... we just could not do
anything about it that's all.
And another wise saying, "Reading maketh a full man, conference a ready man,
and writing an exact man". Hear! Hear! Very true indeed. Often enough,
when you need to write about something, suddenly you realised that
what you think you know, you actually don't know.
Another wise person once said, "When I was studying for my Bachelor's Degree,
I felt that I was very knowledgeable. When I was studying for my Master's Degree,
I realised that actually there are a lot of things that I still do not know.
When I studied for my Doctorate Degree, I realised that actually what I know
is very little!!!". Eerrh, don't know what to say. Sure sound very reasonable.
Another wise person once said, "To live through an impossible situation,
you don't need the reflexes of a Grand Prix driver, the muscles of a Hercules,
the mind of an Einstein. You simply need to KNOW what to do". So very true indeed.
Another wise person said before, "There is no problem, only a shortage of ideas!"
Another wise person said before, "The goal of science is to build better
mousetraps. The goal of nature is to build better mice." Hehe :)
Ok, enough wise person sayings. At the end of the day, this website is about
sharing with you any information that we feel is worth sharing or
that others can benefit from if they know.

Life enriching information is the kind of information that
can help us do things better, save time and money, avoid unnecessary hassles,
cheer us up, show us how to succeed, etc.
Any information that can help us improve our life and increase our standard
of living, is useful information.
Any information that can help us live our life to the maximum
and to live meaningfully, is valuable information.
Any information that can help us protect ourself or avoid danger,
is life-saving information.
